Hike Schedule
Following is a list of upcoming hikes. We rate the difficulty of the
hikes from A to G. Click here for a description
of the rating system. Detailed announcements of upcoming hikes are linked to the schedule below.
Our LAST K9TB Hike! (Available for Sign-up)
Our rating system is intended to give a rough idea of
the length and difficulty of the trail with "A" being the shortest and easiest,
and "G" the longest and most strenuous. The icons shown below are used in
our schedule to give you a quick visual of the hike difficulty.
- Hikes 2-4 miles, over fairly easy terrain with
only light hill climbing at 2-mile/hour pace (Excellent for beginners)
- Hikes up to 6 miles, with moderate climbing
and/or more difficult terrain at 2-mile/hour pace (Good for beginners who are well
conditioned)
- Hikes up to 6
miles, with more strenuous climbs and more difficult terrain at 2-1/2 to 3 miles per hour
pace (Good for athletic individuals who are beginning hikers)
- Hikes of 7
to 9 miles, with moderate climbs and difficult terrain at 2-1/2 to 3 miles per hour pace
(Good for more experienced hikers.)
-Hikes of 7 to 9 miles, with more strenuous climbs
and difficult terrain at 2-1/2 to 3 miles per hour pace (Good for more experienced
hikers.)
- Hikes of 10 or more miles, with light to
moderate climbing and fairly easy terrain at 2-1/2 to 3 miles per hour pace (Good for
experienced hikers interested in a longer hike)
- Hikes of
10 or more miles, with significant climbs and difficult terrain at 2-1/2 to 3 miles per
hour pace (Good for experienced hikers in excellent condition.)
